As a practicing Solitary Eclectic Wiccan since 1982, I use my knowledge and
experience to help those who request my assistance.
In the Spring of 2004 I started Kereena's Grimoire. This blog provides Wiccan resources
and support free of charge to anyone interested in Wicca or magick. This is also one
method of accessing the many spells, charms, and other products I produce.
Also visit ScenicPixel.com to view my photoblog, or Flickr to view all my
photographs.
Read the official Newsletter of Kereena's Grimoire. Published quarterly, it's packed
with tips, tricks, tutorials, special offers, spells, and more delivered directly to
your inbox.
The Dyad Moon represents a time when we honour the union between the Lord and the
Lady and its Earthly consummation. Productivity is in full gear and difficult goals are
within our grasp. To celebrate wear bright, lively colours and decorate yourself with
flowers. Burn gold and silver coloured candles. Your incense should be jasmine. Use
fresh flowers to decorate your home and white lace to mark the boundaries of your
Circle. Serve your guests frosted cake with champagne or fruit-flavoured sparkeling wine
to wash it down.
This is the Sabbat known as Beltane, the fire and fertility festival, which is also
known as May Day. Following Celtic tradition, this Sabbat begins at sundown on April 30
and ends at sundown on May 01. Wear green or bright colours and adorn yourself with
flowers. Burn green coloured candles anointed with floral oil and use flower decorated
candleholders. Your incense should be a mixture of rose petals, almond and frankincense.
Use flowers to decorate your home. Mark the boundaries of your Circle with flower
petals. Serve your guests a breakfast-like meal for dinner (bacon and eggs, sausages and
pancakes, etc.). Remember to leave a plate outside on the East side of your property for
the Sun God.
If you've wandered over to the Herbals Page you'll see that I've been a bit busy lately. In fact this is where I'm going to be concentrating most of my efforts for the next little while. I find it easier to make progress on the site if I concentrate on one thing at a time.
Makes sense I suppose. Not as much fun for you all however. I know there are a few people waiting for new spells to be added. Still others have been asking about buying altar cloths. I'll get there... eventually.
